MCNEA and ANA members meet to discuss Organizational Restructuring Efforts

Posted over 3 years ago

On perhaps the coldest day of the year, ANA-Michigan President Carole Stacy received a very warm welcome from the Michigan Council of Nursing Education Administrators (MCNEA). MCNEA represents the academic nurse leaders, of associate and practical nursing programs, in Michigan. MCNEA was meeting in Frankenmuth the afternoon prior to their annual conference for nursing educators. President Stacy provided MCNEA members with an update on ANA-Michigan’s recent organizational restructuring efforts, and our legislative and policy initiatives. The primary focus of the presentation was to invite MCNEA members to participate in ANA-Michigan’s Organizational Affiliate Membership program. MCNEA members were then apprised of the member benefits provided by ANA-Michigan to the participants, as an affiliate member. The presentation was met with a positive response and we are hoping for 28 new affiliate members in 2019!
