National Academy of Medicine: Meeting, Webinar, & Twitter Chat

The National Academy of Medicine’s (NAM) Committee on the Future of Nursing 2020-30 is holding public meetings this Summer on its Future of Nursing 2020-30 report. The committee is interested in insights from nurses on how to advance the profession and help our nation create a culture of health, reduce health disparities, and improve the health and well being of the US population.  Each meeting will feature real-time panel discussions around a specific topic, followed by time for public comments.

The second meeting of the NAM Committee is being held in Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 24 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EDT.  The theme is Payment and Care for Complex Health and Social Needs.  You can register to attend in person or watch the live webcast.

To prepare for the meeting, NAM will also host a Twitter chat on Wednesday, July 17 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. EDT.
